About Klesira
We started Klesira because we saw a gap: early-stage biotech startups with brilliant ideas but without the experienced scientific hands to guide their R&D.
Our Story
Klesira was founded by three Oxford PhD graduates who noticed a pattern: promising biotech startups were struggling — not for lack of funding or ambition, but for lack of accessible, high-calibre scientific expertise. Many relied on the cheapest CROs they could find, leaving trust gaps in their experimental work.
We built Klesira to be the bridge. By connecting startups with Oxford-trained scientists on a flexible, by-the-hour basis, we give early-stage companies access to the kind of scientific guidance that was previously only available to well-funded pharmaceutical companies.
